Background

Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Dr. Sodha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), followed by a Master of Engineering in biomedical engineering from a prestigious combined program at Harvard University and MIT. She focused her research on developing technology for the latest applications in a wide array of surgical procedures.

Dr. Sodha then earned her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in spine surgery at the Mayo Clinic, helping take care of patients with a wide range of the most complex spinal pathology.

Following her fellowship, Dr. Sodha joined the team at Rasouli Spine in Los Angeles, CA. She was recently named one of SpineLine’s “20 Under 40,” a selection of the most “outstanding young spine care professionals under the age of 40 who demonstrate remarkable achievements, community service, and dedication to advancing spine care.”
